Your 14-Day Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your print, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen 2005:59).
The 14-day period runs from the day you (or someone you nominate) take physical possession of the goods. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send us your cancellation notice before the 14 days have expired.
How to Start a Return
Email hello@gottofrotto.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. We will reply with the return address and simple instructions.
You do not need to use a specific form, but stating clearly that you wish to cancel (for example, "I hereby cancel my order [number] for [item]") helps us process it quickly.
Please wait for our confirmation before shipping anything back, so your return reaches the correct facility.
Condition of Returned Prints
Prints must be returned unused and undamaged, in their original protective packaging and tube or flat mailer. Please handle prints by the edges — fingerprints, creases, scuffs, or tears cannot be accepted.
We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the print, as permitted under Article 14 of the Consumer Rights Directive.
Return Shipping Costs
For change-of-mind returns under the 14-day right to cancel, you bear the direct cost of returning the print. We recommend a tracked service, as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.

Refunds
Once your cancellation is confirmed, we will refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery charge (except any extra cost arising from your choice of a delivery type other than our cheapest standard option).
We issue refunds within 14 days of being notified of your cancellation, using the same payment method you used for the order, at no fee to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned print, or until you provide proof that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier.
Refunds are processed through Stripe; depending on your bank, funds typically appear within 5–10 business days after we issue them.
Damaged or Faulty Prints
Every print is produced to order on archival Hahnemühle fine-art paper and inspected before dispatch. If your print arrives damaged in transit, has a production defect, or is not what you ordered, contact hello@gottofrotto.com within a reasonable time of delivery, ideally with a photo of the issue.
We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including all shipping costs. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under EU and Swedish consumer law.
Exchanges
Because each print is made to order, we do not operate a direct exchange service. If you would like a different size or image, please return your original print under the 14-day right to cancel for a refund and place a new order.
